Rhapsody In Blue Gala

Travel Back in Time with this "Roaring 20s" Inspired Event

This one-night-only event begins with a reception and silent auction with music by students from FSYO's new Jazz Orchestra. Following the reception, you will enjoy a seated dinner with music by FSYO's chamber orchestra. This spectacular evening will conclude with some of the best seats in the house for an amazing concert featuring pianist, Charl Du Plessis with Music Director Hanrich Claassen and your FSYO Jazz and Symphonic Orchestras. Together they will perform George Gershwin's iconic jazz-concerto, Rhapsody in Blue, along with some specially arranged pieces that bring classical music to life with a jazz twist.
