The 2015 – 2016 Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra Season Opener

Program: The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra's 59th Concert Season opens with this concert at the historic Bob Carr Theater in Downtown Orlando. All four FSYO Orchestras will be featured at this concert. As always, academic and music educators receive complimentary admission to this and all FSYO concerts. This concert is part of the Season Subscription Package.

Admission: Single concert tickets range from $10.00 to $20.00. Subscription series tickets are available. All tickets can be purchased through fsyo.org.

The Annual Concerto Competition Finalists' Recital

Program: This adjudicated recital showcases the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra's Annual Concerto Competition finalists, as they compete for the chance to play their concerto accompanied by the FSYO's Symphonic Orchestra. Previous winners have gone on to study at Julliard, Manhattan School of Music, The Boston Conservatory, among other prestigious institutions. Don't miss the opportunity to hear some of the most talented student musicians of Central Florida! Free admission for all!

WKMG Local 6 presents the 6th Annual Holiday Concert at Lake Eola featuring the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and benefiting the Salvation Army.

WKMG Local 6 presents the 6th Annual Holiday Concert at Lake Eola featuring the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and benefiting the Salvation Army. The holiday concert is performed to aid the Salvation Army Red Kettle donations -- your generosity can brighten the holiday season for many kids around Central Florida. Hosted by WKMG Local 6, and featuring all four of the FSYO orchestras, this concert will bring your family the sounds of the season, and a visit from a very special ho-ho-holiday guest! As always, academic and music educators receive complimentary admission to this and all FSYO concerts.

The Celebration Foundation Classical Concert Series, featuring the FSYO Symphonic Orchestra

Program: The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra makes its eighth appearance with the Celebration Foundation Classical Concert Series, showcasing the Symphonic Orchestra, under the direction of Principal Conductor & Music Director, Matthew Davis. This concert will also feature a concerto competition winner, accompanied by the orchestra.

The Celebration of Music Education Concert

Program: Our annual Celebration Concert honors public and private music educators, who strive to enrich the lives of young musicians in Central Florida. The Overture Strings, Prelude, and Philharmonia groups will be featured at this event. As always, academic and music educators receive complimentary admission to this and all FSYO concerts. This concert is part of the Season Subscription Package.

The Children Helping Children Concert

Program: The annual Children Helping Children Concert features the pre-professional Symphonic Orchestra, as well as one of our concerto competition winners, in a performance geared to introducing young community members to classical music. FSYO will continue to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. As always, academic and music educators receive complimentary admission to this and all FSYO concerts. This concert is part of the Season Subscription Package.

Admission: Single concert tickets range from $8.00 to $16.00. All tickets can be purchased through fsyo.org. Admission can be obtained traditionally by purchasing tickets (visit fsyo.org) or by donating 5-10 canned goods per person to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
