Philharmonia

philharmoniaThe Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Mr. John Dupuis, is an advanced, full orchestra where students play standard classic literature and perform in a number of concert experiences.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is for students ages 11 to 18. Though the majority of students fit into these age groups, upon request, exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Board, in consultation with the conductors.

The Philharmonia Orchestra rehearses from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the College Park Baptist Church (CPBC), 1914 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. Members meet in the CPBC’s gym, found across the street from the main building, on Yale Street.

No qualifying student will be turned away from the FSYO because of an inability to pay tuition. The FSYO fundraises to provide tuition payment financial aid for musicians whose families demonstrate need. Financial aid is not available for the Audition Fee, concert tickets or uniform cost. Please contact the FSYO office to request a Financial Aid Application.

The FSYO tuition for the 2012 – 2013 Concert Season is as follows:
