Cameron serves as Director of Advancement for Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras, where she leads the organization’s fundraising, grant writing, and donor engagement efforts.
A lifelong musician and arts advocate, Cameron is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, where she grew up studying piano and voice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a double major in Psychology from Florida State University, combining her passion for the arts with an interest in understanding people and the ways they learn, grow, and connect with others.
Cameron joined FSYO in 2022 as Operations Coordinator, gaining firsthand experience with the organization’s students, families, programs, and community. She later transitioned to development, where she found an opportunity to bring together her passion for music education and her interest in building meaningful relationships. In her current role, she works to strengthen FSYO’s philanthropic support and expand opportunities for young musicians throughout Central Florida.
Cameron is proud to contribute to an organization that has provided meaningful music education experiences to young musicians for more than 70 years and to use her skills in support of a program much like the ones that shaped her own childhood.
