Open to musicians in the FSYO Carlo Band, Percussion Ensemble, Philharmonia, and Symphonic Orchestra, this competition gives young performers the rare and prestigious opportunity to step into the spotlight and win the chance to perform as a soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra.
Join us for the final performance of our eight finalists where they will be evaluated by a panel of expert judges. Evaluation criteria include tone, intonation, rhythm, musical expression, stage presence, and more with all finalists performing their piece from memory. Ultimately, two winners will be selected to perform their solo works in a public concert this spring.
