A Day In The Life - Chase Hippler

Senior Close Up

This month we interviewed Chase Hippler, one of our Symphonic Orchestra members, and a long-time member of FSYO.

FSYO: How long have you been in FSYO? What made you want to join?

I have been a member of FSYO for two years. The experience came highly recommended to me by a fellow FSYO member and trombone player, Nicholas Dufresne.

FSYO: What are your plans after you graduate high school?

I will be attending the United States Air Force Academy as a cadet majoring in astronautical engineering. After completing my education, I will serve in the US Air Force.

FSYO: What do you do when you're not rehearsing?

Lake Brantley Open 1600As an International Baccalaureate (IB) student at Winter Park High School much of my time is spent studying. But, also I train as a member of the Winter Park High School Varsity Track team. Most recently I began flight lessons and have earned the nickname "Maverick". My passions are surfing, blacksmithing, and working toward my pilot's license.
