Cameron Frye

Cameron03 webDevelopment Coordinator

(She/Her)

Cameron Frye was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and she is thrilled to be a member of FSYO’s Administrative Team. Cameron grew up in a family where classical music was very prominent, and thus was supported in her love for the arts from a young age. She began piano lessons at age five, and she spent her childhood involved in as many singing organizations as possible, including being a Voice Major at a performing arts school for middle and high school.

Cameron continued to pursue her love of music into adulthood, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a double major in Psychology from Florida State University (Go Noles!). Since graduating, she has continued to pursue her two passions, working in the arts and working with young people, leading her to previous positions as a Music Educator, Behavior Technician, and ultimately to a position as Operations Coordinator with FSYO.

After working closely with FSYO's community as Operations Coordinator, Cameron wanted to expand FSYO's reach, leading her now to her role as Development Coordinator. Her goal in this position is to elevate FSYO's fundraising efforts with the hope of continuing FSYO's mission of enhancing music education experiences for the students of Central Florida. She is proud to be a part of Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras' Administrative Staff!
