FSYO’s programs would not be possible without the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations. Concert tickets, tuition, and other earned revenue only make up 50% of our total budget and we rely on fundraising to bridge that gap. FSYO makes a concerted effort to keep tuition low and offer need-based scholarships, both of which would not be possible without fundraising.
What do your dollars contribute to?
$50 could contribute to the cost of office supplies for the workspace.
$100 could purchase one music stand. It takes over 300 music stands to produce rehearsals and concerts.
$250 could cover minor instrument repairs.
$550 could fully scholarship one student in Overture Strings or the Wise Band.
$1,000 is the cost of renting rehearsal space for one day. FSYO will host 28 rehearsal days this Season!
$2,500 could cover the cost of AV services for one event.
