Instrument Donation

Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras collects and repairs gently-used band and orchestral instruments in playable and good cosmetic condition. We then place them in the hands of our students who are eager to play but cannot afford an instrument.

(Pick up is available on a case by case basis.) Please note that some instruments may not meet our quality standards or are inappropriate for education purposes and will be sold with 100% of the proceeds used to repair instruments or purchase new ones. Cases, bows, metronomes, tuners, and music stands are also greatly needed. We do not accept pianos, organs, or accordions.

The donor is responsible for estimating the value of the instrument. If verification is needed for tax purposes, please consult a qualified musical instrument appraiser before making a donation. In-kind donations to FSYO are 100% tax deductible.
