An FSYO Sneak Peak

The Symphonic Orchestra in Rehearsal for the 56th Season Opening Concert

"I chose the Capriccio Espagnol for the Opening Concert because it's really a showcase piece for the Orchestra," says FSYO Symphonic Orchestra Conductor and Music Director, Maestro Andrew Lane. "We have so many great players in the Symphonic Orchestra; it gives each individual section a chance to shine, and a chance for FSYO to show off the individual talents of each member."

Continuing, Maestro Lane commented that, "It's a very difficult piece, a very flashy piece, but an incredible way to start the season!

Join Maestro Lane and all four FSYO Orchestras for the 56th Season Opening Concert on Sunday, October 14, 4 pm, Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre. Learn more about this concert, and the rest of the FSYO 56th Concert Season here.
